ALERT: HPU UG (BA/B.Sc/B.Com) Annual Practical Exam Schedule Released for March 2026!

Himachal Pradesh University (HPU), Shimla, has issued an important notification regarding the conduct of practical examinations for Under-Graduate students for the 2026 session.

​This update applies to all students enrolled in the Annual System for BA, B.Sc., and B.Com (1st, 2nd & 3rd year).

​Key Highlights from the Notification:

  • ​Exam Dates: The annual practical examinations are scheduled to be held from March 1st, 2026, to March 20th, 2026.
  • ​College Action: Principals have been instructed to prepare student groups, fix specific dates within this schedule, and depute senior teachers to conduct the exams.
  • ​Important Note on Admit Cards: The notification emphasizes that colleges must upload Internal Assessment (IA) marks at least one week before the commencement of theory exams. This is crucial to avoid any inconvenience for students when downloading their admit cards.

​Students are strongly advised to get in touch with their respective colleges immediately to know their specific batch timings and practical dates within the declared window.
